Similar to the AirPods wireless earphones, the Powerbeats Pro has some unique features to offer consumers. This device can also pair up with Android devices despite being a product that’s mainly designed for Apple patrons. Here are some tips on using the Powerbeats Pro wireless earphones.

The Powerbeats Pro is one of the few rivals of Apple’s AirPods in the wireless earphones market. Some of the Powerbeats Pro's advantages are its high durability, its waterproof body and long battery life. Aside from the device's specs, the Powerbeats Pro also has nifty, customizable and useful features. Three of them are found below.

Android Pairing

Even though the Powerbeats Pro supports many Apple features, it can also pair up with Android devices. To do this, open the charging case near your Android device. On your phone, head to the Bluetooth settings menu to see if it can detect the Powerbeats Pro.

If the device does show up, you’ll be able to use it like any regular wireless earphones. However, the only downside is you can't use the "Hey, Siri." feature.

If the device doesn't show up, resetting the earphones might do the trick. To reset the earphoes, put the Powerbeats Pro back in the case and press the case’s button until its white light starts blinking.

Earpiece Renaming

This feature is best used when surrounded by other Powerbeats Pro owners. To do this, head to the “i” icon near your detected Powerbeats Pro device in the Bluetooth settings to rename your own pair. This name will now show up in your Bluetooth pairing list the next time you need to use your Powerbeats Pro.

“Hey, Siri” Feature

Similar to the Apple AirPods, the Powerbeats Pro on Apple devices responds to the "Hey, Siri" voice command. This feature is very useful since you will have Apple’s proprietary voice assistant at your disposal. There’s actually no need for you to wait for Siri to appear on your phone’s screen. You can just keep talking and she'll follow all your voice commands. Even when using the Powerbeats Pro, the earphone's built-in mic can relay your requests to Siri pretty easily.

The PowerBeats Pro is scheduled to hit shelves on May 10.
