Alcatel Lucent SA (ALU) stock surged 4.55 percent to $1.15 in pre-market trading. The company stock climbed 10 percent in regular trading Friday after Bloomberg reported that Alcatel is in talks with Goldman Sachs Group for a loan to strengthen its balance sheet.
Knight Capital Group Inc. (KCG) stock gained 3.61 percent to $2.58 in pre-market trading. The company stock was upgraded to “market perform” rating from an “underperform” rating with a price target of $2.60 at Keefe Bruyette.
