Deutsche Bank AG (DB) stock surged 4.83 percent to $46.41 in pre-market session. The bank plans to raise up to €3 billion ($3.9 billion) in new capital through a sale of stock in the coming months, the Wall Street Journal reported citing unnamed familiar sources.
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) stock surged 3.42 percent to $32.07 in pre-market session as its third quarter profit tops estimates. The software maker reported third quarter net income of $5.11 billion or $0.60 per share compared to $5.23 billion or $0.61 per share in the same period last year and above the analysts' estimation of $0.58 per share.
EDAC Technologies Corp. (EDAC) stock gained 3.23 percent to $14.72 in pre-market session.
Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. (GT) stock advanced 3.04 percent to $11.51 in pre-market session. The company announced Thursday that it has completed a refinancing of its principal U.S. credit facilities.
First Solar Inc. (FSLR) stock advanced 2.34 percent to $21.90 in pre-market session. The stock has a 52-week low of $20.02, a 52-week high of $145.16 and $1.85 billion in market capitalization.
General Electric Co. (GE) stock gained 1.88 percent to $19.50 in pre-market session. The company reported first quarter net income of $3.03 billion or $0.29 per share compared to $3.43 billion or $0.31 per share in th e same quarter last year. Excluding one-time items profit was $0.34 per share compared to analysts' estimation of $0.33 per share.
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) stock gained 1.63 percent to $8.10 in pre-market session. The company reported first quarter adjusted net profit of $92 million or $0.12 per share, up from $56 million or $0.08 per share in the same period last year and above analysts' estimation of $0.09 per share.
Riverbed Technology, Inc. (RVBD) stock slumped 21 percent to $22.01 in pre-market session. The company reported first quarter net income of $6.95 million or $0.04 per share, down from $13.04 million or $0.08 per share in the same period last year and also below the expectations of $0.20 per share.
Sandisk Corp. (SNDK) stock slumped 15.17 percent to $34.33 in pre-market session after reporting first quarter profit below analysts' estimates. The company reported first quarter net income of $114.4 million or $0.46 per share compared to $224.1 million or $0.92 per share in the same quarter last year and below analysts' estimation of $0.70 per share.
Nokia Corp. (NOK) stock fell 2.62 percent to $3.72 in pre-market session. The stock has a 52-week low of $3.79, a 52-week high of $9.42 and $14.31billion in market capitalization.
