Endocyte, Inc. (ECYT) stock surged 6.30 percent to $8.10 in pre-market session. The company stock surged 100 percent Monday after Merk (MRk) and Endocyte announced that they have entered into an agreement to develop and commercialize Endocyte's investigational therapeutic candidate, vintafolide.
Comerica Inc. (CMA) stock surged 5.48 percent to $32.55 in pre-market session. Its first quarter net income rose to $129 million or $0.66 per share from $102 million or $0.57 per share in the same period last year while analysts' expected net profit of $0.55 per share.
Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ) stock surged 3.67 percent to $3.67 in pre-market session on news that China National Offshore Oil Corp. is in talks to buy Canadian Solar.
Sprint Nextel Corp. (S) stock advanced 2.39 percent to $2.57 in pre-market session. The stock has a 52-week low of $2.10, a 52-week high of $6.45 and $7.25 billion in market capitalization.
Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) stock advanced 2.05 percent to $23.84 in pre-market session. The company expects first quarter net loss to be in a range of $0.75 to $0.85 per share. Excluding items, Valero Energy expects to report quarterly net profit of $0.25 to $0.35 per share.
U.S. Bancorp. (USB) stock gained 1.8 percent to $31.72 in pre-market session. The company reported first quarter net profit of $1.29 billion or $0.67 per share compared to $1 billion or $0.52 per share in the same period a year-earlier and against analysts' estimation of $0.64 per share.
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) stock advanced 1.37 percent to $8.91 in pre-market trading after Goldman Sachs (GS) reported better-than-expected earnings.
China Gerui Advanced Materials Group Ltd. (CHOP) stock plunged 6.35 percent to $2.95 in pre-market session. The company reported fourth quarter net income of $0.31 per share compared to $0.23 per share in the same period last year.
KIT digital, Inc. (KITD) stock plunged 4.06 percent to $6.58 in pre-market session. The company announced that its board of directors has accepted the resignation of non-executive Chairman Kaleil Isaza Tuzman.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. ( GS) stock fell 0.79 percent to $116.92 in pre-market session. The company reported first quarter net profit of $2.07 billion or $3.92 per share, up from $908 million or $1.56 per share in the same period last year, while analysts' expected net profit of $3.55 per share. The investment bank also announced that its Board of Directors increased the firm's quarterly dividend to $0.46 per common share from $0.35 per common share.
