The company reported that as part of its restructuring plan, the company will lay off 27,000 employees by the end of fiscal year 2014. The company expects to save around $3 billion with this restructuring strategy.

Activision Blizzard Inc (ATVI) stock rose 3 percent to $12.70 in the pre-market session. The stock has a 52-week low of $10.40, a 52-week high of $14.40 and $13.71 billion in market capitalization.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA) stock rose 1.87 percent to $39.30 in the pre-market session. The company will be replaced by Viacom Inc. in the Nasdaq-100 Index on May 30.

Arch Coal Inc. (ACI) stock rose 1.48 percent to $7.52 in the pre-market session. The stock has a 52-week low of $6.77, a 52-week high of $30.29 and $1.58 billion in market capitalization.

Siemens AG (SI) stock fell 1.77 percent to $83.21 in pre-market trading. A business survey for May confirms a decline in German economic activity and suggests that the downturn has affected Germany which will in turn impact the growth of the company. The Ifo index, a monthly survey of business executives in Germany that measures business confidence. fell from 109.9 in earlier month to 106.9.

China Telecom Corporation Limited (CHA) stock declined 1.58 percent in the pre-market session. The company, which has a market capitalization of $37.95 billion, has a 52-week low of $46.19 and a 52-week high of $67.97.
