Pregnant Kate Middleton Doing Better, Ready To Take Prince George To School
Kate Middleton is doing much better after recovering from her severe morning sickness.
The Duchess of Cambridge had been on strict bed rest due to hyperemesis gravidarum or severe morning sickness following the announcement of her third pregnancy. Fortunately, Middleton is reportedly back on her feet and has been feeling more like herself. She has been spotted in various royal events and is now ready to take on her mommy duties again, including taking Prince George to school, People reported.
On Wednesday, Middleton revealed that she is feeling better nowadays and is ready to take 4-year-old Prince George to school. Middleton missed her son's first day of school due to her frail condition during the early stages of her pregnancy and had reportedly been "devastated" that she couldn't be there for Prince George.
Meanwhile, Middleton recently graced the opening of the annual School Leaders Forum by charity Place2Be wearing a plum-colored dress by Goat. During the event, the royal mom talked about parenting and community. "As a mother, just getting used to leaving my own child at the school gates, it is clear to me that it takes a whole community to help raise a child. Whether we are school leavers, teachers, support staff or parents we are all in this together," Middleton said (via People).
"Collaborating with experts like yourselves, we're looking at providing easy access to information and practical tools to support teachers, parents and children feel comfortable talking about their mental health. We are all here today because we share the belief that every child deserves the chance to fulfill their potential," the Duchess of Cambridge continued. "When I came to this conference two years ago, I left with a real sense of energy and passion about what we could all achieve together. And I’m looking forward to learning even more today."
Middleton previously took a break from her royal engagements after the palace announced her third pregnancy and condition. She made her first public appearance after her pregnancy news broke at the reception for World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10 where she also debuted her baby bump.
However, Middleton's baby bump received mixed reactions from her followers. Some bump-shamed her and questioned her pregnancy due to her tiny bump. This did not stop Middleton from continuing to fulfill her royal duties. Since then, she has been spotted with Prince William and Prince Harry in various royal events.
