Pregnant Kim Kardashian Hypocrisy: 'You Cannot Have A Baby Without Being Married'
After years of Kim Kardashian criticizing one of her sisters for having two children without being married, the reality-television personality, who is pregnant and unmarried, admitted to being a hypocrite during a recent interview.
While speaking to Ryan Seacrest of E News, the celebutant blatantly referred to herself as a hypocrite. Although the reality-TV star technically was married when she announced she was expecting, it was to man other than the father of her prospective child.
The unexpected event forced the 32-year-old fashionista to take a step down from her high horse when it comes to having a child out of wedlock, as she explained on “Ryan Seacrest with the Kardashians: An E News Special.”
“I’ve said some things that I completely am, like, a hypocrite about now,” Kardashian said. “I would say things about [sister] Kourtney, like, ‘You cannot have a baby without being married.’”
Kourtney Kardashian has two children -- Mason, 3, and Penelope, 9 months -- with her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick.
Kim Kardashian was just granted a divorce from the NBA Brooklyn Nets star Kris Humphries on Friday, but is already 6 months pregnant with hip-hop tycoon Kanye West’s child.
The mom-to-be, who is expecting her bundle of joy in July, said she had judged her big sister this year during an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine.
“I was really firm and strict,” Kardashian told the magazine in February. “But she was like, ‘Marriage isn't what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”
Since her divorce has been finalized with Humphries, 28, she can focus on starting a new life with West, 35.
“[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it,” she told Cosmo. “I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”
