Pregnant Kim Kardashian West To Be Induced On Thanksgiving? Potential Due Date Reportedly Revealed
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian West called her pregnancy “awful,” but it might be over sooner than expected, Us Weekly wrote in an exclusive report Wednesday. The E! reality star reportedly is due on Christmas Day, but she might be induced on an earlier holiday: Thanksgiving.
Kardashian West, 35, had preeclampsia and placenta accreta during her pregnancy with her first child, daughter North, and her doctors are afraid she will have the same complications with her son. “Kim’s doctors want to get the baby out early because of her medical history,” an insider told Us Weekly.
As uncomfortable as pregnancy is for the star, her husband, rapper Kanye West, is trying to make things as pleasant as possible. “He’ll drop everything to be with her,” a source said. “He sends flowers.”
Kardashian West has gained 52 pounds and could have gestational diabetes. “I might need a hysterectomy after delivery if my condition is severe enough,” she wrote in a blog post Monday. “So as time goes on, I am stressing out less and trying to go with the flow.”
She further lamented her second pregnancy experience during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Friday. “I’m so over it ... I am beyond over it,” she said. “I said this last time. I said I am done. Don’t ever make me go through that again. ... How miserable it is, swollen feet and heartburn. It is the worst.”
Just because she’s complaining doesn’t mean the fashionista doesn't appreciate having conceived again. “It was really hard for me to get pregnant ... [but] at the end of the day it doesn’t mean I have to like it,” she said. “I think sometimes [people] think I am ungrateful for being pregnant.”
If Kardashian West were induced on Thanksgiving, the baby, whose name hasn’t been revealed, would be born nearly five weeks early, which was similar to North’s delivery. She was born five weeks early after her mother’s blood pressure spiked and she was forced to deliver early.
