?Pregnant Man? Thomas Beatie Says Wife Nancy Is A Violent Alcoholic: ?She Hit Me In The Crotch?

New court documents revealed pregnant man Thomas Beatie is splitting from his wife Nancy of 9 years because she is a violent alcoholic, who physically and emotionally abused him.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Nancy physically attacked Beatie on multiple occasions, even once hitting him in the crotch in front of their children.

Thomas said on January 17, 2012, Nancy woke him up at 2 a.m. by punching him in the face.

This night, like every night, [Nancy] hovers over me, threatening me with physical and emotional abuse, he said according to the court documents.

The attacks continued throughout their marriage.

Thomas said in February 2012 he attempted to stop his visibly intoxicated wife from driving his three children, a daughter Susan and sons Austin and Jensen, to daycare. Nancy allegedly began to curse at Beatie and shoved him.

According to the documents, filed in Arizona, Beatie called the cops, but Nancy continued her assault.

She hit me in the crotch, he claimed in the court documents, according to TMZ.

Nancy filed countered the court documents with ones of her own. She denied Thomas' allegations of physical and emotional abuse. Instead, she claimed Thomas was the one doing the abusing in their relationship.

After Beatie appeared in court earlier this month, a judge issued a restraining order against Nancy. She is not allowed to see Beatie or the children outside of three supervised visits per week.

Another hearing is scheduled for May 7 to determine child support, spousal support, and custody.

That will be the same day Beatie and his family will be appearing on the show 'The Doctors,' where Beatie details his split from Nancy. Beatie announced the separation last week.

Like all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we're going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we're separated,' he said according to People magazine.

The couple wed in 2003 in Hawaii. Nancy, 49, underwent a hysterectomy after having two children from a previous relationship.

Beatie had the couple's three children before he underwent his last gender reassignment surgery. Yet his newly estranged wife hasn't seen the new me yet.

He was born a woman named Tracy Lagondino in Hawaii in 1974, but Beatie said he always felt like a man. He began testosterone injections in his twenties, which gave him facial hair, a lowered voice, and altered his sexual organs.

In 2002 he had a mastectomy and legally became a man. Yet he opted to keep his vagina, uterus, and other female organs so the couple could have children.

'I wanted to have a child one day. I didn't know how. It was just a dream, he said on the Oprah Winfrey show 4 years ago according to the Daily Mail.

The couple received sperm from an anonymous donor and Beatie underwent artificial insemination. The three pregnancies happened in rapid succession because Beatie could not be off his testosterone shots for very long.

Beatie revealed that he is thinking about getting a hysterectomy now that he is done having children.
