Pregnant Meghan Markle Was Told To 'Slow Down,' Source Says
Meghan Markle got to where she is now by being a certain way, according to royal expert Russell.
While speaking with Lorraine Kelly on ITV’s “Lorraine,” Russell said that Markle has been warned by royal staff to slow down, especially since she will give birth to her first child in the spring of 2019. He also said that the royal family has a lot of traditions that the Duchess of Sussex may be struggling with.
More specifically, Christmas time is a very busy time for the royal family. The expert claimed that the members of the British clan need to change outfits seven times during the day, and Markle is no exception. Everything that happens on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day depends on what Queen Elizabeth II wants.
“They can’t do anything until the Queen goes to bed or tells them what to do,” he said.
In related news, Russell also weighed in on recent reports about Markle’s parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle Sr. He said that he has been told that Ragland won’t be celebrating Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham this year.
And with regards to Markle and Thomas’ feud, Russell said that he thinks it cannot be fixed.
“If he is going to keep saying these things, and hurtful things, then maybe there is no way back,” he said.
Earlier this week, Thomas spoke with Piers Morgan on “Good Morning Britain” and revealed that he has not spoken to the Duchess of Sussex in months. The 74-year-old also said that he texts Markle every day but to no avail. The former lighting director wants to have a talk with his daughter especially now that she is pregnant with her first child.
Unfortunately, Markle has not reached out to her dad. She hasn’t also spoken to her half-siblings since before her royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19. Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., urged Prince Harry’s wife to talk to their dad and said that he is not in the best of health.
