A woman on a business trip in Georgia had no idea she would return home with a baby in her arms.

Victoya Venise was weeks away from her due date — May 15 — and thought she was having an upset stomach when she experienced tummy pains Friday. The mother from Louisiana was in her Dunwoody hotel room when she felt the sudden urge to go to the toilet, according to Yahoo News Australia.

"I had just came [sic] back from urgent care with my daughter. And she had a stomach bug," she told 11 Alive. "By the time I realized it was a baby and not poop, it was just too late."

Venise did not realize she had gone into labor when she used the toilet. As she finished up her bathroom business, she looked into the toilet bowl and gasped when she saw her baby inside. The single mother said she fished her son out of the toilet bowl and wrapped him up in a towel.

Venise told her mother to call 911 and was taken to the Northside Hospital close to her hotel. Venise also said she was not the only one surprised because her doctors had the same reaction when she told them she had given birth weeks before her due date.

"They actually thought my due date was May 15 because I was so small. So that was kind of the conflict with them. They thought I was not as far as long," she told the outlet.

A day after giving birth to her second child, Venise was back in the hotel room finishing up her work projects while her newborn, named Rocky Andrew, enjoyed his older sister’s company. The mother said she is planning to take some time off from work to dote on her newborn.

Venise initially planned on giving up her son for adoption thinking she wouldn’t be able to juggle between being a single mother of two while working as a graphic designer and social media manager. However, after Rocky’s unexpected arrival into this world, Venise said she decided to look after him herself.

"I feel so connected to him even more," she told the outlet.

"No, you're mine, I'm going to take care of you," she told her little one. "If I could literally bring you into the world by myself, I think I could take care of you."

Venise said there’s something special behind the name she chose for her newborn baby as well.

"Rocky is a nickname that was given to my grandfather," she said. "And I just thought that it was kind of so befitting because it was like you had a rocky start, but you're going to be strong and you're a fighter."
