Presidential Debate Betting Odds: Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden Prop Bets Include Topics, Coronavirus

There are many gambling opportunities for the first debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Over a dozen prop bets are available as to what will happen when the presidential candidates meet Tuesday in Cleveland for the first of three debates. Bettors can place wagers on what Trump and Biden will say and when they might say it, in addition to bets about the debate questions.

For instance, the word “racism” is favored to be said by one of the candidates before “violence,” “police,” “protest” or “Black Lives Matter.” When discussing the coronavirus, Trump or Biden is favored to mention masks before China or the CDC.

The total number of non-facts said by Biden is 1.5 with the odds set at -120 for both the over and under. The projected number of non-facts said by Trump is 5.5, though the incumbent has -150 odds to go over that number.

A bettor that puts $100 on the over would win $66.67 if Trump says at least six non-facts. A $100 wager on Biden at -120 has a potential profit of $83.33.

Biden has -140 odds to say "750," in light of the New York Times report that revealed Trump only paid $750 in federal income taxes in both 2016 and 2017. Biden has -300 odds to walk to the podium while wearing a mask.

Trump is a -450 favorite to be maskless. The president has +275 to walk to the podium with a mask on.
