“Pretty Little Liars” fans definitely won’t want to miss episode 19. After the explosive and revealing eighteenth episode on Tuesday, the ABC Family series is taking a different route for their next episode … a black and white 1940s film noir-style special!

Next Tuesday, Spencer will continue down her slippery slope of investigating Ezra as “A” and using prescription medication. And while she looked ragged in episode 18, “Shadow Play” will find her in much worse shape. According to the synopsis for episode 19, her sleepless nights while on prescription pills will take a toll on her as she continues her hunt for answers about Ali and “A.” As she dives into some fresh information, “her world view takes a black and white turn.”

What exactly does that mean? Break out your fedoras, because it means that Spencer’s mind will be bringing “Pretty Little Liars” viewers into the sultry world of 1940s film noir!

Spencer’s mini-mind meltdown will be taking Aria, Hanna and Emily along for the ride as they investigate the mystery from another point of view. But will the black and white world help Spencer put all the pieces together? And how much longer can Spencer continue on this dangerous path of self-destruction? “Pretty Little Liars” fans will just have to wait to find out!
