Don’t mess with A.” Episode 20 of “Pretty Little Liars” airs on Tuesday, Feb. 18 and Ezra is well aware that Spencer is on his trail. And while Spencer might be bright, “A” has a couple of tricks up his sleeves that will leave the teen in a very tough situation.

For those that missed episode 19, Spencer’s prescription pill habit took her mind on a wild ride through a fictional scenario set in a 1940s black-and-white film noir. While none of the events seemingly happened in real life, a clue in her hallucination lead her to figure out that Ezra switched some important words in Ali’s journal and planted it for them to find. Thanks to some photos, she took of Ali’s journal, she was able to show the evidence to Emily and Hanna. The pair believed her and had plans to tell Aria -- until they showed up at her house and found her lip locked with Ezra. Stunned about their discovery and now uncertain about how to handle the situation, episode 20 is going to find them in a sticky spot.

As we previously reported, episode 20, “Free Fall,” will focus on Hanna, Spencer and Emily trying to figure out the best way to tell Aria that Ezra is “A.” And while Hanna and Emily have doubts about even telling her for fear of hurting her or ruining their friendship, Spencer is bent on revealing the truth.

But in usual “Pretty Little Liars” fashion, “A” has something up his sleeve to deal with the current situation. Knowing that the girls are close to telling Aria, Ezra will inform her of something that will have her doubting Spencer’s credibility -- the fact that her friend is addicted to prescription drugs. The big reveal will reportedly leave everyone doubting Spencer’s theory, believing that she could have made the whole “Ezra is A” thing up in her head. And it’s entirely possible that her tired brain did … or maybe it’s just another one of “A’s” crazy ploys!

Thanks to some new photos it appears as if Ezra is going to hand Aria the file on Spencer that he stole the previous episode. Fans will remember that Ezra didn’t just still the file -- he also added some of his own Dr.’s notes in it … courtesy of Spencer’s former flame, Dr. Wren. Aria definitely looks shocked as she rifles through the papers, and a separate photo makes it appear as if she’s approaching Hanna and Emily about Spencer’s problem. Hanna and Emily seem just as surprised and concerned as Aria -- and it doesn’t look as if Spencer will be helping her case. Another photo from “Free Fall” shows the normally prim and proper Spencer getting confronted by Emily while donning a sweatshirt, basketball shorts and sandals.
