Whip out the old prom dress and make a bowl of punch – it’s prom night on “Pretty Little Liars”! The girls have been through hell and back in high school thanks to “A”/ Charles DiLaurentis. But during episode 9 on Tuesday they’ll finally get to experience prom … well, kind of.

The folks at Rosewood High School wants to keep Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) as far away from the school grounds as possible on prom night. Although the teens have been waiting for this day, the school views them as a security risk. But fortunately the girls have their parents on their side. The moms gather to throw them their own prom in Spencer’s barn. Is it the same thing as a normal prom? Absolutely not, but they have few other options.

Of course Charles has other plans for the girls. Episode 8 ended with him taking a tux out of a limo and placing needles filled with drugs into the trunk. When he went into the vehicle, “Red Coat” handed him two initiations to the Rosewood High School prom. Will he manage to get his hands on them again? Or will they be able to capture him once and for all?

Emily gets up the courage to ask Sara (Dre Davis) to prom at Spencer’s house. But Emily doesn’t get the response she was hoping for. Sara reveals that her old school is having prom on the same night and she already promised her friends that she would go with them.

Alison got Lorenzo (Travis Winfrey) in trouble last week, and now it looks like Toby (Keegan Allen) has problems with the Rosewood Police Department too. After the attempt to catch Charles at the arcade a few weeks ago, Toby is suspended -- and it’s kind of all Spencer’s fault. She asked him to go to the arcade, and it was her drug-laced gummy bears that she ate. Toby says it’s for the best … but is it really?

Sneak Peek #3

Hanna’s not getting her tradition prom, and now she’s not getting a date either to the party at Spencer’s. Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) breaks the news that he’s going to New York for the weekend to hang out with his dad. Hanna wants him to come back early to hang out with the others, but Caleb sticks to his plans. However, he might be hiding his true intentions for going to New York. Hanna gets suspicious when she finds an industrial strength laptop in his bag.
