‘Pretty Little Liars’ Series Finale: 8 Questions We Need Answered In Season 7, Episode 20
After seven seasons of watching the Liars get harassed and tortured by the mysterious villain “A,” Freeform will air the final episode of “Pretty Little Liars” next week. However, before the show ends there are several questions that need to be answered in order to give fans a satisfying farewell.
Check out these 8 questions we need answered in the “Pretty Little Liars” Season 7 series finale below:
1. Will Aria and Ezra get married?
Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding) have been engaged for quite some time now and have yet to tie the knot. Their initial plans to elope were ruined when Ezra’s previous girlfriend, Nicole (Rebecca Breeds) was found alive after she was presumed dead following a trip to South America. From there, the couple seemed to grow distant but eventually came back to each other within the last few episodes of Season 7.
Although everything seems good, in the promo for episode 20, “Til Death Do Us Part,” Aria can be seen telling Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that she can’t marry Ezra. What is causing Aria to get cold feet? After years of loving one another, could this be the end for Ezria?
2. What’s next for Mona?
Mona (Janel Parrish) is known for being an evil mastermind, but from the looks of the previous episode, she has retreated back to “Crazy Mona.” Her future doesn’t look as bright as it used to. After losing control of the game, Mona seemingly loses her mind, almost kills Hanna (Ashley Benson) and regresses back to her high school days before any of the “A” drama started. Will Mona ever snap out of this mental state, or is she doomed to spend her life in a mental institution?

3. Will Spoby become a couple again?
Fans were finally given hope of a Spoby reunion when Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) hooked up in a previous episode, but will that moment of passion be enough to reignite their love story? Toby is still heartbroken following Yvonne’s (Kara Royster) death, and it is unclear whether he is fully ready to move on from that relationship.
4. Will the Liars be able to live normal lives now that A.D. is gone?
Following the highly anticipated reveal of A.D. in the series finale, the Liars will finally be free of torment. But will the ladies be able to lead regular lives after years of looking over their shoulder and having no control of their lives? The group has spent years following leads and chasing down suspects in an effort to get back their freedom. However, now that they have it, it doesn’t mean they will know what to do with it.
5. What’s the deal with Wren?
For years “PLL” fans have speculated that Wren (Julian Morrison) was the mastermind behind A.D. That theory began to fade when his character exited the series in Season 4. However, the charming Brit return for Season 7b, and in the series finale promo, he can be seen firing a gun. Has Wren been involved in the “A” game the entire time?
6. Who is A.D.?
Obviously, this is the most important question of them all. When it comes to the reveal of the “A” character, “Pretty Little Liars” has a history of only revealing members of the team rather than the real person in charge — with the exception of the Season 6 midseason finale, which revealed Charlotte (Vanessa Ray) as the person who has been running things all along.
As Season 7 comes to a close, many of the potential suspects pegged to be A.D. have been eliminated, leaving viewers to question whether A.D. is a character that hasn’t been featured in a while or if some random person has been tormenting the Liars.
7. Will Alison give birth?
Throughout all of the craziness that went down in the second half of Season 7, Alison (Sasha Pieterse) has been pregnant. It would be nice to see what gender her baby turns out to be and whether this child will have a name dedicated to a fallen character. Although Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) admitted to killing her twin sister Jessica DiLaurentis, she did gift her niece and daughter with the deed to the Lost Woods Resort.
Should Alison give birth to a girl, would she be willing to name it after her aunt or mother? Emily (Shay Mitchell) also has say in the matter. Should the baby be a boy, she could easily convince Alison to name it after her father, Wayne (Eric Steinberg), who passed away during the five-year time jump.

8. Will there be a time jump?
Both the stars of the series and showrunner Marlene King have promised fans a satisfying ending when it comes to the “Pretty Little Liars” series finale which begs the question whether or not there will be a time jump? Will the series jump a few years ahead to show the Liars’ happily ever after or will the ending be abrupt?
Let’s hope these questions are answered when the two hour “Pretty Little Liars” series finale airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
