The newly wed Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, Princess Charlene, attended a charity event in Leeds, England, on Sunday where they not only appeared together arm-in-arm, but also outshone everyone around.
Prince couple, who wed in a religious ceremony at the Palace in Monaco on July 2, made it to the Variety Club Golden Jubilee Ball at Harewood House in Leeds amid speculations about turbulence in their marriage.
Albert was recently seen without his wedding ring at the European Super Cup soccer match in Monaco on Aug. 26, adding to the gossip about the troublesome start to his married life, perhaps related to his two children by other women.
Defying any such rumors, the Monaco royal couple together embraced the British charity event, which marked the 50th anniversary of the charity in Yorkshire, raising £250,000 ($406 000) for children's charity, Reuters reported.
While Albert appeared perfectly dressed for the charity ball, Charlene looked graceful and elegant in a cream-golden, V-neck, floor-length gown, which she paired with a pair of yellow diamond earrings and a complementing clutch bag.
