Prince Andrew Reportedly Won’t Be Featured In Beatrice’s Wedding Photos; Fergie To Accompany Ex-Husband

Prince Andrew’s role at Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding will reportedly be scaled down.

After the Duke of York was accused of sexually abusing underage girls years ago, he announced his decision to quit his royal duties. At present, Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband has been living a quiet life away from the cameras.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal expert Angela Mollard said that Prince Andrew’s role at his eldest daughter’s wedding would be interesting.

Prince Andrew is expected to arrive at the venue alongside the Duchess of York. He will also be the one to walk Princess Beatrice down the aisle, but this moment would be very quick for the father and son.

Mollard is also predicting the possibility of Prince Andrew not being featured in Princess Beatrice’s official wedding photos. Instead, the snaps that will or won’t be released to the public may be all about Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

“Unfortunately, poor Beatrice is being tarnished by the allegations around her father and that’s not going away yet. We don’t know what’s going to happen with that so, very hard to be planning a wedding at the same time as your family is doing a major damage limitation exercise,” she said.

The royal expert added that Princess Beatrice just has to get through her royal wedding because even though it won’t be televised, the whole world still wants to know what will happen on her special day especially with regards to Prince Andrew.

Princess Beatrice’s dad reportedly skipped her engagement party, but Ferguson managed to attend alongside Princess Eugenie, who will be her older sister’s matron of honor.

Meanwhile, the Duke of York made headlines this week after he was photographed on his way to Sandringham to have lunch with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Prince Andrew drove himself to Her Majesty's estate and was accompanied by a male security officer.
