Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are very much in love in these photos.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall shared one of the most publicized and scandalous romances in the world. Princess Diana was very open that her marriage with Prince Charles was difficult as "there were three of us."
Prince Charles denied his affair with Camilla and insisted that they were just friends. After their first marriages failed, the two get back together despite the public's disapproval and got married in 2005.
Pop Sugar collected photos of Prince Charles and Camilla over the years. In the snaps, the two royals appeared loved up and very much affectionate to each other.
One of the snaps featured the two sitting beside each other while laughing. Another photo, was taken during a royal engagement where Camilla can be seen leaning towards Prince Charles while the two smile.
Another snap featured the royals smiling while holding hands. Another shot showed the future king and Camilla leaning towards each other as if they are in a deep conversation and there were no other people around.
Prince Charles and Camilla dated before they married their first partners, Princess Diana and Andrew Parker Bowles. According to experts, the royals didn't approve Camilla that's why Prince Charles married another woman.
In Sally Bedell Smith's biography "Prince Charles: The Passions and Paradoxes of an Improbable Life," the members of the Firm found Camilla as an "experienced" woman, which was a non-starter for the royals in terms of a suitable spouse for the second-in-line to the throne. In fact, Prince Charles' great-uncle, Lord Mountbatten warned him about their relationship.
"Lovely for you two to have a fling, but this absolutely cannot end in marriage," Lord Mountbatten told Prince Charles.
In related news, Prince Charles' past interview denying his affair with Camilla has resurfaced. However, according to a body language expert, although the royal appeared calm, his actions showed otherwise.
"When the subject of faithfulness comes up his brows steeple and his eyes roll upward. He brings his hands to neck height and steeples his fingers, tapping the finger tips together," Judi James explained. "Steepling is a sign of status and the finger-tip tapping suggests deep impatience and annoyance at having to answer questions about his marriage.
