Prince Charles Cradles Edward On His Lap, Plays Games With Andrew In Photo
Prince Charles had a relatively huge age gap with his two brothers, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. When they were born, he was almost a teenager.
The royal siblings’ age gap never stopped them from hanging out and bonding with each other. In an unearthed photo, a handsome-looking Prince Charles is cradling Prince Edward on his lap.
Prince Charles is wearing a brown suit and tie while Prince Edward is in his blue long-sleeved sweater and red shorts. The two male royals are looking intently at Prince Andrew, who is playing with a colored board game.
In the snap, the Duke of York is wearing a blue suit but unlike his older brother, the dad of two didn’t have a tie on. By the looks of it, the picture was taken when Prince Andrew was about 10 years old. This means that Prince Charles is already 22 in the picture.
Meanwhile, when Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward got older, it became clear that they were very different from one another. In fact, reports have claimed that Prince Andrew has always been jealous of Prince Charles. After all, he is the heir to the throne and the Duke of York is just a spare.
And just recently, Prince Andrew denied the allegations that he had sex with underage girls decades ago. According to The Telegraph, Prince Charles reacted to the interview with incredulity and alarm. Prince William and Prince Harry’s dad also thought that his younger brother’s conversation with Emily Maitlis was misguided.
In related news, Prince Charles is not really close to Prince Edward either. In the past, the royal siblings also feuded with each other after the latter invaded Prince William’s privacy while he was studying at the University of St. Andrews.
The Earl Wessex invited a group of reporters to follow Prince William even after Prince Charles discouraged them from doing so.
