Prince Charles Had Secret Face-Lift Before 70th Birthday, Says Expert

Prince Charles reportedly underwent a secret facelift just before he turned 70 years old on Nov. 14.

Susan Hill, a journalist for Daily Star, claimed that Prince Charles relied on the expertise of beautician and facialist Deborah Mitchell for the procedure. Prince Charles’ wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, has also used Mitchell’s therapies just like other celebrities including Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Simon Cowell, and more.

Mitchell just launched the Lipolis 7 machine, an equipment that uses electric currents to stimulate the nerves and the muscles on the face. The portable device helps reduce wrinkles, and it also tightens and lifts sagging skin.

“Camilla has used Deborah for years and is often invited to the palace for pampering sessions. With his 70^th birthday coming up, Charles knew he had to look his best. Rumors are rife that he turned to Deborah because everyone noticed the difference in his complexion straight away. Charles has been prone to redness on the face and spider veins. He didn’t want them in that now famous picture with Camilla, his children, and grandchildren. He is very much a modern man, as well as being the future king,” a source said.

Meanwhile, Mitchell first launched her skincare range 25 years ago. She has been working with the Duchess of Cornwall for the past 12 years. Mitchell previously said during an interview that bee venom, hyaluronic acid, and good genes are what kept Camilla looking youthful at 71.

“Deborah is so well regarded among royal circles because she is discreet and is always happy to help. She really is the royal family’s go-to person when they want to look their best for any major event. Photographs of the royal family go all over the world and are seen by many millions of people. It would seem that Camilla had persuaded Charles to have a little help ahead of his big birthday last month,” the source said.

But when asked to comment on the report, a spokesperson for Mitchell said that the beautician doesn’t talk about her clients.
