Prince Charles reportedly endured a lot of criticism and pressures from the public years ago, but he has never thought about quitting.

While speaking with The Sun, royal photographer Arthur Edwards said that the heir to the throne suffered more adverse publicity than any other member of the royal family after his marriage to Princess Diana ended.

At that time, it was made known that Prince Charles was having an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Despite all of the disapprovals that he received, the dad of two never ran away, and he didn’t also hide.

“Charles and Camilla faced up to the criticism, got on with it and showed they were two people who want to do their duty for their country. No matter what bad publicity they have had, they have always looked straight down the camera and won over their critics,” Edwards said.

However, the same cannot be said about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. After they were criticized by the press, the couple decided to quit from their royal duties and responsibilities. They have also been blaming the media and have banned all newspapers except The Daily Telegraph.

Edwards said that the publication is a serious newspaper and if they find the Duke and Duchess of Sussex doing something wrong, they will definitely be held accountable for their actions.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles was reportedly present at this week’s crisis talks that were organized by Queen Elizabeth in Sandringham. Following their meeting, Her Majesty released a statement saying that there will be a period of transition in which Prince Harry and Markle would spend time in Canada and the United Kingdom.

But even though the Queen supports the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision, a source told Us Weekly that Prince Charles is livid at his son and daughter-in-law.

Prince Charles also reportedly blames Markle for the decision to break from royal tradition.
