Meghan Markle’s recent indirect statement about feeling isolated while part of the royal family has drawn flak from royal fans and royal experts. The Duchess of Sussex made it seem as though the members of Prince Harry’s family have not done anything to welcome her.

An insider told The Standard that Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth have both gone out of their way to welcome Markle into the fold. They have also exerted the effort to build a relationship with her.

Prior to her and Prince Harry’s interview in the ITV documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey,” the heir to the throne reached out to Markle several times. Since Prince Charles and Markle also share the same love for music, they get on well with each other.

Prince Charles also invited the Duchess of Sussex to a preview of an exhibition at the palace months ago. And as for the Queen, Her Majesty has been a constant source of strength not only for the royal couple but also for the other members of the royal family.

Her Majesty invited Prince Harry and Markle to spend time with her in Balmoral because this is where the royals usually talk about their personal issues. But last summer, it was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted to not go to Balmoral to be with the royal family because they vacationed in Nice and Ibiza.

Throughout the past couple of years, only good things have been said about the monarch by the members of the royal family. As such, Markle’s recent statement is causing Her Majesty headache.

It is unclear if Markle was talking about Prince Charles and the Queen when she said that not many people have asked if she’s doing OK. But it is possible that this was a reference to Prince William and Kate Middleton, whom she has not spoken to in months due to an alleged feud.
