Prince Charles Reveals He Wants To Do One Thing Before He Dies
Prince Charles just revealed the one thing he wants to do before he passes away.
While at an event at the Embassy of Ireland in London with his wife Camilla Parker Bowles, the future king restated his faith in the friendship between the two nations ahead of the Brexit talks. In his speech, Prince Charles said that he hopes to get around to visiting the other 17 Irish counties he has not yet visited before he “dropped dead” or “loses his marbles.”
“Above all, we are friends, we are partners, and we are the closest of near neighbors, bound together by everything that we have in common – and by just how far we have come together,” he said.
“If I may say so ladies and gentlemen, this is precisely why it has been of such importance to both my wife and myself that we too should visit Ireland so often over these past few years – to experience and celebrate as best we can the unparalleled bonds between our two countries and to highlight just what a fundamental difference, they make to us all,” Prince Charles added.
Prince William and Prince Harry’s dad revealed that he has already 15 counties in Ireland, and he will continue to explore the neighboring areas in the years to come.
In related news, Prince Charles also made headlines this week after a royal expert claimed that he can choose to not give Prince William the official title of Prince of Wales.
Jon Little, the managing editor of Majesty Magazine, told Daily Star that Prince William won’t be named as the Prince of Wales automatically. The decision will still be up to Prince Charles when he becomes king. But it is highly likely for Prince Charles to give his eldest son that honor as part of the royal family’s tradition.
Little’s statement came after reports swirled that Prince William is already preparing to take over his father’s role by going to top-secret meetings earlier this year.
