Prince Charles’ Thumb Was Nearly Knocked Off Following This Incident With Presenter
Prince Charles’ thumb was nearly knocked off by "Countryfile’s" former presenter Julia Bradbury.
During her interview with the future king on the BBC program, Bradbury said that she nearly hammered Prince Charles’ thumb in during their walkabout. Prince Charles also accidentally whipped her across the face with a bramble.
But despite the delicate situation, Prince Charles still managed to make the presenter laugh. He jokingly told the 48-year-old presenter that he didn’t want to damage BBC’s expensive property.
“He’s very funny. I was like, ‘It’s fine, Your Highness,’” she said.
During his appearance on "Countryfile" in 2013, Prince Charles talked about his love for walking. He said that walking is terribly important for him, and it’s something that he needs in his daily life.
Prince Charles said that walking is riveting and it also helps stimulates his thinking and reflecting. So whenever he has things to write down, he goes for work to relax his mind, and this is where his thoughts come from.
The Prince of Wales also appeared on BBC recently to talk about the importance of taking care of the environment. He said that everyone should think about the kind of world they are handing over to their successors, particularly their grandchildren.
“So, if you have it in those terms, it should make us reflect a little bit about the way we do things so we don’t ruin things for them,” he said.
In related news, Prince Charles also made headlines this week after it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth II really worried about his and Princess Diana’s separation years ago.
Royal author Andrew Morton wrote in his 2011 book “William and Catherine” that when Princess Diana discussed the impending separation with Her Majesty, the Queen told the late Princess of Wales that the welfare of her grandchildren should come first.
Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former royal butler, also said that the Queen told Princess Diana that no matter what happens, nothing will change the fact that she is the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry.
