Prince George, Princess Charlotte Are Learning This Activity This Summer
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are reportedly learning how to ride their bikes without the stabilizers.
Joe Gamp, a journalist for Express, revealed that the son and daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton were recently spotted riding their bicycle under the supervision of their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte were photographed in their full cycling gear while riding their bikes in central London park. Prince George, who turned 5 years old on Saturday, was seen in his red helmet and blue bike. Princess Charlotte, on the other hand, rode her pink bike in her blue helmet.
Last year, Middleton revealed that her children are learning to ride their bikes while speaking with Frank Schleck, a professional cyclist. Schleck told Hello! “She said their kids have bikes and that they’re always excited about trying to ride.”
In related news, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released Prince George’s 5th birthday portrait to commemorate his birthday last weekend. Alahna Kindred, a journalist for Express, said that the photo proved Prince George is just like any other kid his age even though he is third in line to the throne.
Kindred noted that the last button on Prince George’s shirt wasn’t closed to make his photo look perfect. Prince George’s photo was taken by photographer Matt Porteous at the Clarence House garden after Prince Louis’ christening on July 9.
Royal fans were quick to note how Prince George looked like a young Prince William in the snap.
“To me, he’s the spitting image of his dad at that age,” one royal fan tweeted.
“Happy Birthday Prince George. Have a great day. He looks just like his dad,” another person wrote.
Royal fans previously said that Princess Charlotte has a striking resemblance to Princess Diana, and Prince Louis looks like his grandmother Carole Middleton.
