Prince Harry A ‘Disgrace’, Celebrates With South Africa After England’s Loss [VIDEO]
Prince Harry was reportedly a disgrace, according to a netizen.
The Duke of Sussex flew to Japan to cheer on England in the Rugby World Cup Final, People reported. However, England lost the match and after the game, the royal was seen celebrating with South Africa, which irked the netizens.
“Why the [explicit] was #princeharry having a beer with the SA team after the game!!! He could have just popped in and said well done but to celebrate the victory with them is a [explicit] disgrace #ENGvRSA,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Why wasn’t Harry with the English team checking to see if they were ok?” a different online user commented on the clip of Prince Harry visiting the South African players in their change room after the finals.
The same netizen implied that Prince Harry, who confided earlier that he was traumatized by the cameras following his mom’s death, was seeking media attention. According to Jamie Fraser, Prince Harry went to the South African team because they won and they had the world’s attention.
“Given his press phobia & professed interest in mental health, you’d think he’d be holed up in England’s dressing room, away from the cameras, consoling the team on its loss but, hey, the winning team gets all the attention, right?” Fraser wrote before adding, “Doesn’t take a genius to see the hypocrisy.”
Fraser noted that Prince Harry sent messages of support to England but chose to celebrate their opponent’s win in person. Meanwhile, some supported Prince Harry because they had always known that the royal loves South Africa. Another suggested that perhaps Prince Harry celebrated with the England’s opponent because the country is part of the Commonwealth.
During Prince Harry’s visit to Japan, he also met with the Japanese Paralympic hopefuls. He was also seen with schoolgirls when he flashed his wedding ring after they complimented him for being a good husband.
Netizens were impressed by how Prince Harry reacted. Some of them said that the Duke of Sussex is the “happiest married royal to date.”
