Prince Harry reportedly encourages his wife Meghan Markle’s “bizarre” obsession with Princess Diana.

Several sources claimed that Markle was very fond of the late Princess of Wales that she wanted to be like her. According to a report from New Idea, Prince Harry is encouraging Markle’s obsession by saying something that inspires his wife to copy his mom even more.

“Harry often tells Meghan how much she reminds him of Diana, which she loves,” a source said.

“Meghan always talks about how Diana would have understood her given they experienced the dark side of fame – with their treatment bearing striking similarities.”

The source went on to say that from the moment Prince Harry proposed to Markle she’s been on a mission to “emulate his late mother in any way possible.” Markle reportedly spends hours reading about the People’s Princess. She also watches her clips and interviews.

Markle also loves to pay tribute to Princess Diana by wearing clothes that are strikingly similar to the ones worn by the late Princess of Wales. She also admitted that she wanted to honor Princess Diana’s legacy by continuing her good work.

However, Markle’s brother, Thomas Markle Jr., doubted that she would be the next Princess Diana. Meghan has a problematic relationship with the Markles.

“I’ve read that Meg wants to be like Diana. Diana was worshipped by everyone in the world. She was loved for the right reasons,” Markle Jr. said.

“That’s what Meg wants, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. She’s not genuine like Diana. There’s a whole different side of her that has started to surface and it’s ugly to see.”

Markle’s brother said that she wanted to portray herself as a humanitarian and charitable person but she is “none of those things to her family.” He added that Prince Harry’s wife is “acting phony” and insisted that Markle changed when she got into Hollywood. She reportedly forgot her roots and her family.
