Prince Harry A ‘Gentleman,’ May Give Meghan Markle ‘Special Gift’ Post-Baby’s Birth
Prince Harry has been dubbed as a perfect gentleman amid rumors that he will give his wife, Meghan Markle, a special after she gives birth to their first child.
Royal etiquette expert Grant Harrold of The Royal Butler said that gift giving to mark the birth of a child has become a common practice in the United Kingdom, especially in recent years. Harrold also said that he has no doubt that the Duke of Sussex will give Markle a push present, and it may either be a flower or a piece of jewelry.
“With only a few months until the birth of the next royal baby, who will be seventh in line to the throne, I have no doubt Prince Harry who is the perfect gentleman and husband will buy a special gift to mark this special occasion for his beautiful wife, the Duchess of Sussex,” he told Express.
Harrold added that it may be possible for Prince Harry and Markle to never reveal the Duke of Sussex’s gift to his wife. If it is a piece of jewelry, royal fans will just see the Duchess of Sussex wearing it in public.
This is not the first time that Prince Harry’s possible push present for Markle has made headlines. Last week, Kathryn Knight, a journalist for Express, also said that Prince Harry will most definitely give Markle a push present.
When Kate Middleton gave birth to Prince George and Princess Charlotte in 2013 and 2015, respectively, Prince William gave his wife two push presents. In 2013, the Duke of Cambridge gave the Duchess of Cambridge a circular pendant inscribed with their son’s full name.
Two years later, Prince William gifted Middleton with a pair of tourmaline, green amethyst, and diamond earrings. The earrings were reportedly crafted especially for Middleton by Kiki McDonough.
As of late, it is still unclear what Prince William gave Middleton after Prince Louis’ birthday on April 23, 2018. But it is possible that the second in line to the throne gave Middleton gave a citrine ring.
