Prince Harry Gives Rare Update About Son Archie: ‘We’ve Left The Screaming’
Prince Harry just gave a rare update about his 1-month-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
While at the baseball game between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox in London, the Duke of Sussex revealed that he and his wife pulled an all-nighter trying to put their son to bed the night before.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also met athletes of the Invictus Games, an organization that was founded by the Duke of Sussex in 2014, for injured servicemen and women.
The new dad had a conversation with Bianca Rainbow-Jones, who said that she and Prince Harry talked about their babies. Rainbow-Jones has a 9-month-old daughter named Raphaella.
“We talked about babies! They said, ‘We’ve just left [the screaming] – we had that about an hour before we came here,’” she said.
According to Rainbow-Jones, the royal couple also had a sleepless night while taking care of their royal. But despite their lack of sleep, Prince Harry and Markle were still smiling from ear to ear at the sports event.
On their official Instagram account, photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were also released. In one of the snaps, Prince Harry and Markle look extremely happy while looking into each other’s eyes.
Markle’s appearance at Saturday’s event came as a surprise to attendees. It was only Prince Harry that was announced to attend. The “Suits” alum is also on maternity leave so she’s not expected to make public appearances until then.
But next month, Prince Harry and Markle will once again reunite in public for their son’s christening at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. As of late, Archie’s godparents and other details about the baptism haven’t been released.
There are rumors suggesting that Amal Clooney and George Clooney will be two of Archie’s godparents. Oprah is also rumored to be tapped for the important role since she and Prince Harry are working on a television series together.
