Prince Harry Heartbreak: Duke Reportedly ‘Bothered’ By Prince William’s New Title, Source Claims

Prince Harry is reportedly bothered by Prince William’s new title. Even though the appointment didn’t come to him as a surprise, the Duke of Sussex is still convinced that the timing of the announcement was quite questionable.

A source told Closer Weekly that the announcement hit a raw nerve for Prince Harry, who is a very sensitive guy. Meghan Markle’s husband thinks that the members of the royal family could also be throwing shade at him, but he doesn’t want to dwell on it.

“William’s new title was discussed in the ‘emergency meetings’ so Harry isn’t surprised by the news. But he’s an extremely sensitive guy — an over-thinker who takes things personally, and the timing of the announcement (which happened just days after he landed in Canada) hit a raw nerve,” the source said.

Last week, Queen Elizabeth appointed Prince William to Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. The Duke of Cambridge’s new role has a year-long term.

Kensington Palace’s announcement came in the heels of Prince Harry and Markle’s bombshell exit. Another source told the publication that Prince Harry wanted to keep his HRH title, but Her Majesty refused.

In order to have a simpler and more normal life, the Duke of Sussex agreed to have his title revoked.

“Harry and Meghan are just going to be The Duke and Duchess of Sussex from now on. They’ll still continue with their charity but won’t have to report to the Queen anymore, ” the source said.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Prince Harry also made headlines this week after it was revealed that the future king has reached out to his younger brother following his departure from the royal family. Prince Charles has also been doing the same thing for his youngest son.

But as of late, Prince Harry has not reciprocated his father and brother’s loving gesture.
