KEY POINTS
- Prince Harry is, reportedly, having a hard time adjusting to his new life in Los Angeles with Meghan Markle and Archie
- The Duke of Sussex, per reports, is 'struggling' and 'upset' about his present situation
- Royal experts raised concerns about Prince Harry after new photos showed the younger brother of Prince William looking thinner than before
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry caused quite a stir when they announced their decision to step down as senior royals in January. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, reportedly, want to live a simpler and more peaceful life away from ceaseless criticisms and mockery that they get on a daily basis while living in the United Kingdom. However, many royal experts and followers have raised concerns after new photos of Prince William’s brother, looking tired and gaunt, surfaced lately.
Phil Dampier said, in the May 4, 2020 issue of New Idea Magazine, that the younger son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana is going through a hard time now as the reality of being away from his loved ones has, allegedly, started to sink in. The royal expert claimed that Prince Harry is, currently, feeling “helpless” and “upset” about it all. He added that the Sussex pair seems “irrelevant” in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Though Meghan Markle, reportedly, appears to be thriving in Los Angeles as she is said to be in talks for possible new projects in Hollywood, the same can't be said to Prince Harry. “Not only is he coping with moving to LA away from his family and friends, but the crisis is making it very difficult to make new ones, so he must be in a strange place,” Phil said.
“No amount of stunts like delivering food parcels in LA with face masks on will bring back the kudos he once had as a full-time royal. Harry looks very thin, and whereas I would have put that down to giving up beer and getting fit, he now looks a bit cadaverous. It makes you wonder if he is quite stressed and is worrying himself thin,” he went on.
In April, Dr. Jane Goodall, who is a good pal of Archie’s dad, revealed that Prince Harry is finding life “a bit challenging” since his family moved to North America after the controversial ‘Megxit.’ The primatologist, per The Daily Mail, claimed that she has been in contact with the Duke of Sussex.
Jane added she is not sure how about Harry’s future now that he is no longer a working royal. “I don’t know how his career is going to map out, but, yes, I’ve been in touch – though I think he’s finding life a bit challenging right now,” Jane told Radio Times.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to comment on Phil Dampier and Jane Goodall’s statements.
