Prince Harry made a diva demand to the staff of a hotel.

Last week, Prince Harry participated in Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup charity match in Rome. In an interview with “CBS This Morning,” the Duke of Sussex’s friend Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras revealed an incident when Prince Harry confronted one of the hotel staff and made an environmental plea that somehow sounded like a diva demand.

“We were at the hotel where we spent the night before the game. He talked to a person and said, ‘This morning I got my coffee and I saw that you have a plastic thing on the coffee,’” Figueras recalled.

“And then I also sent my shirt and I got my shirt in a big plastic bag. Can we please not use the plastic?” Figueras continued while impersonating Prince Harry.

Figueras pointed out that what Prince Harry wanted was to end the use of plastic. TV presenter Gayle King agreed and remarked that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to make the world a better place.

Figueras also defended the couple from the press. According to him, Prince Harry and Markle are “being misinterpreted in so many different ways” and he confessed that it bothered him a lot.

Prince Harry and Markle wanted an autonomous household when they decided to split from Prince William and Kate Middleton. The couple wanted to have their own brand but couldn’t make it when Buckingham Palace decided to take them under its wings.

According to royal correspondent Chris Ship, Queen Elizabeth II denied Prince Harry and Markle’s request to have an autonomous household because she wanted to keep an eye on the couple. This doesn’t mean that the couple’s actions would be limited, but a reminder that their good deeds should not outshine the works of the other royals.

Following Prince Harry and Markle’s split from Prince William and Middleton, the couple made a separate account on Instagram. A few weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were accused of stealing Prince Harry and Markle’s thunder when they shared adorable family photos just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posted never-before-seen photos from their wedding to celebrate their first anniversary.
