Prince Harry, Meghan Criticized For Not Being ‘Frontliners’ Like William, Kate Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently criticized by royal fans after they posted about the coronavirus outbreak on their Instagram account.

On the Sussex Royal Instagram account, the royal couple shared a screenshot of the World Health Organization’s recommendations on how to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The list includes the washing of hands, avoid touching the face, practicing good respiratory hygiene, and more.

“Around the world, the response from people in every walk of life, to protect and look out for their communities has been inspiring. None more so than the brave and dedicated healthcare workers on the frontline, risking their own well-being to care for the sick and fight COVID-19. Wherever you are in the world, we are all incredibly grateful,” Prince Harry and Markle captioned their post.

“For all of us, the best way we can support health workers is to make sure we do not make their job any harder by spreading this disease further. No matter where you are, the @WHO has shared some guidelines that can help. You may have seen or heard these before, but they are as important today as ever. Unfortunately, a lot of people were not impressed with Prince Harry and Markle’s attempt to get involved with the global health pandemic.

“Meghan, you failed to connect with the British people. You failed to work with the royal family. You failed to live in London. You failed to find a path to work with your own family. You failed with your first marriage. You failed in Hollywood. Yet you think you were qualified to give advice. You think you were an expert. You gave up your role to be anything to anybody. You are an average person just like the rest of us and your insight is average at best. You are not qualified to tell other people what to do or how to live their life,” Instagram user @wazup431 said.

“You should be on the frontline like Wills and Kate not sitting give your snippets of sympathy for us poor peasants!!!” another Instagram user said.
