Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Asked Wedding Guests To Wear This Shocking Item
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding guests were encouraged to wear sanitary pads on May 19.
Diane Morgan, a 43-year-old actress, made the claim during her interview on Ricky Gervais’ morning show on Sirius XM. The host revealed that Morgan told him that guests were asked to wear a nappy, but the actress clarified that it’s more like a sanitary pad.
“You are sat there for about four hours, aren’t you? And when they invite you they say we suggest you wear a sanitary pad,” Morgan said.
The actress also said that men were asked to wear the same thing because it was impossible to go to the bathroom due to the long queue.
Anders Anglesey, a journalist for Daily Star, noted that Princess Eugenie is the next royal to tie the knot this year. Her wedding to Jack Brooksbank will take place on Friday, Oct. 12. However, it is unclear whether or not her guests have been advised to wear sanitary pads as well.
In related news, Prince Harry and Markle are expected to attend Princess Eugenie’s nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. However, reports claimed that they will only be there to witness the ceremony. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may skip the reception at the Royal Lodge on Friday evening because they will be preparing for their upcoming trip to Australia.
The “Suits” alum will fly to the country with her husband on Oct. 15, and their official engagement will commence a day later. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will also have a more relaxed reception at the Royal Lodge on Oct. 13, and Prince Harry and Markle will also miss the gathering.
Markle and Princess Eugenie have developed a close friendship with each other ever since the former actress joined the royal family. In recent weeks, Markle has also given Princess Eugenie some wedding tips to prepare her for her special day. But despite Markle’s suggestions, Princess Eugenie’s special day will be quite different from Markle and Prince Harry.
Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter’s order of service for her wedding has been released, and the differences range from her choice of performers and music to the font used for the booklet.
