Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just been accused of snubbing Prince Andrew.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they have created a joint Instagram account where they will share photos, updates and announcements regarding the Sussex household.

Immediately after the announcement, the couple’s Instagram account garnered 2 million followers. Prince Harry and Markle also followed some members of the royal family who have Instagram accounts, as well as the official accounts of the charities that are close to their hearts.

As of late, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are already following 23 accounts, namely, Princess Eugenie, the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, the National Theater, the Mayhew, Smart Works Charity, Heads Together, Queen’s Canopy, Well Child, London Marathon, Sentebale, England Rugby, Royal Ontario Museum, Royal Marines, RAF Honington, Rhino Conservation Botswana, Map Action, African Parks Network, Invictus Games Foundation, Invictus Games the Hague 2020, Clarence House, Kensington Royal, and the Royal Family.

Luke Hawker, a journalist for Express, previously claimed that Prince Harry and Markle snubbed Prince Andrew, who also has a personal Instagram account. They also did not follow Sarah Ferguson, who has a personal Instagram account but who is also no longer an official member of the royal family.

But upon close inspection, Prince Harry and Markle are already following Prince Andrew but not Ferguson.

Meanwhile, the couple’s first post included a photo of their official joint logo reflecting the first letters of their names. The couple also shared some snaps from their recent engagements and they encouraged their followers to tune in to their account for regular updates.

Prince Harry and Markle are the first British royal couple to create their own social media account. Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for years but they have not created one.

The new social media account of the royal couple was also created after it was reported that they will split from Prince William and Middleton soon and will hold their office at the Buckingham Palace.
