Prince Harry, Meghan Markle May Hire This Celebrity Nanny For Their Baby
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly hired a celebrity nanny from the United States for their firstborn.
James Ingham, a journalist for Daily Star, said that Prince George and Amal Clooney recommended nanny-to-the-stars Connie Simpson to the royal couple. The childcare veteran has worked for Hollywood A-listers like Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Justin Timberlake, and more.
The journalist claimed that Simpson will also serve as a family coach to help the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bring up the royal baby. She will be working closely with Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland.
“I’ll tell Meghan that in all the things you can give a person, the most important thing you can give them is yourself and your love. The baby is going to have no earthly idea that she’s Meghan Markle or that she’s Prince Harry’s child and in line to the throne. They will just know her for being one to supply that milk to her and give her that comfort,” she said.
Nanny Simpson also gave Markle an advice during her first pregnancy.
“I would say as much as she can to just enjoy the moment of being a mother, the transformation of her body, and the different stages of the baby’s life. I’d also advise her to not be overwhelmed by people’s advice. While she may take in information from people like her sister-in-law, don’t try to apply it all to her life because it’s not all going to work. There’s a beautiful little bean coming into the world so they need to enjoy what they made,” she said.
Last week, Kensington Palace announced that Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in the spring of 2019. The members of the royal family, including Ragland, are also delighted to learn about the baby news.
Markle, who is past her 12-week scan, is on the second trimester of her pregnancy. She is expected to give birth sometime in April or May of next year.
