The first episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Spotify podcast released Tuesday. In a 34-minute holiday special, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex shared their reflections on 2020.

The royal couple interacted with guests, including Sir Elton John, José Andrés, Brené Brown, Tyler Perry, Deepak Chopra, Rachel Cargle and others. In the 2020 Archewell Audio Holiday Special, the pair also revealed some intimate details from their wedding day.

"It's been a year, and we really we want to honor the compassion and kindness that has helped so many people get through it," the duke said while introducing the podcast produced by Spotify and Gimlet. "And, at the same time, to honor those who've experienced uncertainty and unthinkable loss," the duchess added.

The episode featured a collection of personal anecdotes and stories by Harry, Meghan and their guests on the show. As they reflected on the passing year, the pair also toasted to a more hopeful 2021. They ended the show on a high note by playing their wedding song "This Little Light of Mine" by Etta James.

Calling it a "song about showing light," the couple said it meant so much to them. The Duchess revealed that the song was played at the "very end of their wedding" that took place in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in 2018.

It was played "while we were walking down the steps of the church," the duchess revealed.

"It was the music that we wanted playing when we started our lives together," she said, adding, "because as we all know, 'darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that…"

Prince Harry revealed that the song has a message that they "hold so dearly" and it is about using the power we have within us to make the world a better place.

They concluded the show on a surprising note when their 1-year-old son Archie wishes the listeners "Happy New Year" and bursts into giggles. Fans can listen to the complete podcast here.
