Prince Harry, Meghan Shared Honeymoon Plans Only With Prince William, Queen Elizabeth

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only shared their honeymoon plans with Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II.

Martina Bet, a journalist for Express, revealed that Prince Harry and Markle’s honeymoon destination was such a huge secret that even the most senior royals were not told where they were headed.

“No one knows where they went, only his brother and the Queen were told at first and a few immediate family members know now. The most senior members of the royal household staff still have no idea where they went. They were completely frozen out of all plans and preparations. It was very important that the newlyweds had a private honeymoon where they could be alone together out of the public eye,” a source told Bet.

The source added that only a handful of Prince Harry’s most trusted protection officers knew where he and Markle went after their royal wedding on May 19. One of the royal family’s biggest concern was that details about their honeymoon destination, schedule, and whereabouts will be leaked to the media. But this wasn’t the case.

“It has been one of the most tightly guarded secrets in the palace for years and is mainly due to the fact that news of them dating was leaked,” the source said.

In related news, Markle reportedly flew to Toronto this week without Prince Harry. Ahead of her trip, reports swirled that the 33-year-old prince wrote a personal letter to an airline and asked that they ensure his wife’s photos won’t be taken while she’s on board the plane.

Markle’s trip to Toronto is being tagged as personal so Prince Harry didn’t need to be with her. After staying in Toronto, the former actress is expected to fly to the United States and spend time with her family and friends. However, reports revealed that she won’t meet up with her dad Thomas Markle.
