Prince Harry ‘Miserable’ Because Of ‘Difficult’ Meghan Markle, According To Royal Expert

She’s been given a reputation as “Duchess Difficult,” and according to one royal expert, that reputation may even extend to Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry.

In an interview with Sky News Australia (via Express UK), royal expert James Marrow stated that Markle, 37, has a reputation for being difficult, which is only growing once again following the news that a fourth member of her staff, assistant private secretary Amy Pickerill, is leaving after only a few months on the job.

“I think it is a particularly tough gig for a princess like Meghan Markle who is in fact actually fairly notorious--something of a princess in a non-royal sense of the word,” he said. “Her politics are very left wing. She is always on about this cause of the other.”

He went on to add that he thinks she is also affecting Prince Harry, claiming that in photos of the couple, he doesn’t look quite as happy as he does in pictures with others when his wife is not around.

“You know what? Every time Harry is with her he always just looks very glum and miserable. However, every time you see a picture of them off with the lads and doing something else it is all smiles and laughter,” he added. “So, I think she is a pretty difficult character to deal with and I think that yes sure it is hard working for the royals but it would be hard working for a government ministry or working in any sort of roles.”

His comments come on the heels of Markle being criticized for allegedly writing Prince Harry’s speech during WE Day UK, which had him labeled by skeptics as a “hippie” for his lectures on climate change. Marrow also touched on this controversy, stating that Markle’s decision to take a private jet to her baby shower in New York was an example of her seeming like something of a hypocrite.

“I think a lot of people are going to say ‘you know, I think this woman is a bit of a hypocrite here’ and she is probably on the balance of probabilities and not all that easy to work for,” he said.
