Prince Harry ‘Pulled Over’ By Local Police During Speeding Incident But He ‘Escaped’

Prince Harry was previously pulled over by local police officers after he was caught speeding on the M2 motorway across Canterbury. Behind him were his protection officers who were also speeding because they needed to make sure that they were behind the Duke of Sussex.

In the book “Prince Harry,” royal author Duncan Larcombe said that after he and his protection officers were clocked for breaking the speed limit, it was the officers who faced the police.

“His two protection officers pulled out their Met Police badges, hoping this would be enough to convince the local bobbies to let them go about their business. But the zealous uniformed officers were having none of it…They continued in their aim of issuing fixed penalty notices to the three riders they had caught,” Larcombe said.

It was at this time that Prince Harry lifted off his visor, and he gave the officers a huge smile. After they saw who they just caught speeding, the officers couldn’t help but laugh. They also miraculously suddenly had a change of heart. Instead of giving Prince Harry a ticket, they simply gave him a verbal warning.

However, this wasn’t the only controversy that Meghan Markle’s husband was involved in. Years ago, he was also criticized for wearing a Nazi costume to a friend’s party. During another occasion, he was photographed playing pool half-naked. Shortly after both incidents, Prince Harry issued an apology to the public.

Years later, he explained during an interview that he was acting up because there were so many negative emotions in his heart. After the death of his mom, Princess Diana never talked about his real feelings about the incident. He bottled everything up in his chest until Prince William encouraged him to go to therapy, and he did.

Prince Harry also credited his time in the Army as one of the things that kept him sane.

“Being a prince and being an officer in the British Army were, in Harry’s mind, two totally separate entities. This was one of the main reasons a military career was so appealing to Harry… As an officer, he could be normal,” a source said.
