Prince Harry ‘Really Grumpy,’ ‘Doesn’t Want To Be Margaret,’ Source Says

Prince Harry has reportedly changed amid his rumored feud with his brother, Prince William, and their wives, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.

A source told People that the Duke of Sussex has been “really grumpy.” The insider added that something has changed, but no one can pinpoint what it is.

The publication noted that younger siblings like Prince Harry and Princess Margaret tend to struggle with their roles. They usually live in the shadows of their older siblings who are to take over the throne. A palace insider explained that Prince Harry doesn’t have a defined role unlike the Duke of Cambridge, who will be the future king after Prince Charles.

“Harry doesn’t want to be the Margaret of the family, and certainly Meghan doesn’t want to either,” the insider added. “They want to do their own thing. And to do that, you need to be away sometimes.”

A family friend said they believe that Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace is the best for them. Prince William, Prince Harry, Markle and Middleton have different roles, so it’s understandable that they want to part ways.

Prior to the fab four’s rumored rift, there were already rumors suggesting that Prince William and Prince Harry were planning to have a formal division. Now that they both have a growing family, they wanted to create separate courts.

Royal commentator Claudia Joseph said she believes that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will focus on Great Britain. Prince William and Middleton are set to be the next king and queen consort.

On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will focus on the Commonwealth. Prince Harry and Markle embarked on their Commonwealth tour in November where they visited Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji.

Despite their rumored rift, Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry and Markle will be spending the holidays together. However, they won’t be repeating their sleeping arrangement last year.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not stay together this Christmas. Prince William and Middleton will enjoy a peaceful rest at their home in Anmer Hall. Prince Harry and Markle reportedly declined their invitation, so the couple will be housed with other guests under the Queen’s roof like sardines.
