Prince Harry Remembers Painful Memories Of Princes Diana For This Reason
Prince Harry has been recalling some painful memories of his late mom, Princess Diana, due to his wife, Meghan Markle.
Daniela Esler, a journalist for News.co.au, claimed that the Duke of Sussex did not look very happy during his recent trip to Morocco with his wife. Markle, on the other hand, maintained a genuine smile at all times. According to Esler, Markle used the same method that the Princess of Wales did to gain public sympathy, which was to leak flattering stories about her to the press through her friends.
Markle recently asked her friends to talk about her positively during their interview with People. The journalist said that Prince Harry wasn’t very happy about this because it reminded him of his mom.
“For years, Diana used a trusted coterie of friends to leak stories and information to the press, painting herself as a martyr who had suffered greatly at the hands of the bloodless royal cabal. People have enjoyed a number of exclusive quotes and insider tidbits from a coterie of unnamed friends… I think we can take it as a given these morsels of insider info has been dished out with Meghan’s approval,” she said.
Additionally, Markle’s attempts to resume positive public favor after her alleged feud with Kate Middleton has also been reminding Prince Harry of an awful time in his parents’ marriage. Prince William and Prince Harry were regarded as the major casualties of the War of Wales.
For several years in the 1990s, Prince Charles and Princess Diana waged guerilla warfare using skirmish attacks via media sources that tried and controlled the story as their marriage crumbled and they set up dueling royal courts.
According to Esler, Markle’s feud with Middleton and her family, as well as the negative stories surrounding her, is a heartbreaking case of history repeating itself. For the second time in Prince Harry’s life, a woman that he loves is using the press to push her narrative and paint herself as a victim.
