Prince Harry Reportedly ‘Done’ Living In Brother's Shadow; William Sick Of Duke's Constant Self-Pity?

Prince Harry just revealed that he was the one who convinced his wife, Meghan Markle, to quit the royal family.

One of the reasons for the royal couple’s bombshell exit reportedly had to do with Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship. A source told InTouch Weekly that the Duke of Sussex is tired of living in his brother’s shadow.

All his life, Prince Harry was regarded as the spare, while Prince William was highly-respected as the heir. The difference in their roles became more evident now that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are preparing to be king and queen.

Even though there are reports that Prince William and Prince Harry had secret talks, where they discussed their issues and future plans, the source said that it is unlikely for the royal siblings to be as close again as they once were.

“William and Harry still don’t get on. There’s 100 percent sibling rivalry between them,” the source said.

Last month, the same publication claimed that Prince William has grown tired of Prince Harry constantly feeling sorry for himself. This is why he couldn’t be happier that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be staying in London for good.

In their announcement, Prince Harry and Markle revealed that they will be moving back and forth from Canada and London with their 8-month-old son, Archie.

Meanwhile, conflict resolution expert Damali Peterman is encouraging the royal siblings to communicate with each other openly. This way, they can sort out their issues and problems while setting a good example for their kids.

“Communication is key because communication is at the heart of the conflict in any family. If someone doesn’t like what someone said, what someone did, … the way they communicate that is impacted by it, whether they stop talking to each other or the conversation is strained,” he said.

Following Prince Harry and Markle’s bombshell exit, a friend close to Prince William told Us Weekly that Middleton’s husband is disappointed with his brother. The Duke of Cambridge reportedly said that he wrapped his arm around Prince Harry all his life but he could no longer do it from here on out.
