On Nov. 10, the British Royal family gathered together to observe Remembrance Day at a ceremony in London. At the event, each royal wore a red poppy to commemorate military members who have lost their lives during times of war.

While Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle each wore slightly different flowers that conveyed unique messages, some wondered why Prince Harry did not pin a poppy to his uniform in the same way that the other royals did.

According to People, the Duke of Sussex positioned his poppy right above his left ear and pinned it to his Royal Marine cap. The reason behind the unique placement was due to the fact that Prince Harry was following different orders than the rest of the family. An insider revealed to People that the Duke was required to wear his paper poppy "on his cap behind the cap badge."

The recent ceremonial outing marked one of the few times that Meghan and Harry have attended a public event since rumors surrounding their potential relocation have started circulating. Recent reports have suggested that the royals may be considering leaving the U.K. in order to escape the scrutiny that they have faced. However, Queen Elizabeth II could seemingly attempt to "prevent" them from carrying out that wish.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also said to be intentionally keeping the public "at a distance" as they are "politely disconnecting" from their fans in order to maintain a new level of privacy.
