Prince Harry may have "told off" his wife Meghan Markle in what appeared to be a frosty exchange between the royal couple.

A video from Trooping the Colour uploaded on Twitter appeared to show what Express.com has dubbed a "tense" moment between Prince Harry and Markle during the event. In the clip, the Duke of Sussex can be seen looking into a room behind him and talking to a person off-camera, while the duchess is facing front and smiling.

Just moments after Prince Harry turns back around, Markle looks back at him and tells him something. A frowning Prince Harry replies to her in a way that some royal fans believe might be "scolding" Markle. The duchess then quickly turns back around, still smiling at the crowd. Netizens have shared their thoughts on their couple's exchange, with some believing that Markle may have been worried about their baby, Archie Harrison.

“Meghan was so ready to go back to Archie, but Harry was like nope, not yet. And I love how everyone's face suddenly got serious when the anthem started,” one royal fan wrote.

Another person thought that Markle's reaction was "funny."

It is unclear what exactly Markle and Prince Harry, but the duchess' smile seems to show that there are no hard feelings between the couple. In fact, another video from the same event uploaded by royal correspondent Omid Scobie showed Prince Harry and Markle smiling as they chatted.

Prince Harry and Markle welcomed their baby boy in May and introduced him to the world three days later, unlike Princess Diana and Kate Middleton who went for photoshoots immediately after giving birth. While Prince Harry has cut his paternity leave short to fulfill his royal duties, Markle is still on leave.

According to a royal insider, the former "Suits" star has reportedly extended her planned three-month maternity leave "until the fall." However, she will still make appearances every now and then at events, like when she joined the royal family at Trooping the Colour last week, Vanity Fair reported.
