Prince Harry Should Stop Using ‘LA Speak,’ Shouldn’t Take Moral High Ground
Prince Harry has been at the center of criticisms in recent weeks. And a royal expert said that the Duke of Sussex should start acting more like Princess Diana and Prince William.
While speaking with The Sun, royal expert Ingrid Seward compared Meghan Markle’s husband to the late royal. She said that when Princess Diana was still alive, she and Prince Charles regularly used commercial flights but they were accompanied by their protection officers.
A few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle were slammed for taking a private jet to Nice and Ibiza for their summer vacation with Archie. Shortly after, Prince William and Kate Middleton took a commercial flight to Scotland, which led royal fans to criticize the Duke and Duchess of Sussex even more.
According to Seward, taking a commercial flight was a very normal thing for Princess Diana to do. But this changed after she started dating Dodi Al-Fayed.
“It was only when Diana made the decision to dump her royal protection and relied on Mohamed Al Fayed’s security teams that her life was put in mortal danger. What’s more, I’m sure Diana would tell him to stop using LA speak, rambling on in interminable paragraphs, and to be plain and come to the point… Above all, be humble. Don’t take the moral high ground,” Seward said.
Seward also compared Prince Harry to his older brother. She said that the latter has statesmanlike qualities. Prince Harry, on the other hand, has always rushed into things without considering the consequences of his actions.
“ If Harry and Meghan slowed down and took things more gently - instead of this frantic grappling for approval and attention - they might win public support,” Seward said.
Prince Harry and Prince William are rumored to be feuding with each other. The royal siblings reportedly had a falling out after the Duke of Cambridge expressed his concerns over his younger brother’s desire to marry Markle.
