Prince Harry has worn the same blazer several times since meeting Meghan Markle.

Last month, The Sun published a report saying that the Duke of Sussex sticks to a very strict fashion formula. Prince Harry has repeatedly worn his $170 J. Crew blazer no less than 24 times since he met Markle.

Prince Harry has been seen wearing the J. Crew’s Ludlow Traveler suit jacket in several occasions. The duke is known to change up the color or style with a tie from time to time.

Prince Harry wore a light blue blazer when he visited Sheffield Children’s Hospital. He wore the same blazer with matching trousers and tie in a photo call with baby Archie after his birth in Windsor. Prince William’s brother wore the same blazer on Archie’s christening photos but opted for a mushroom shade.

According to tailor Simon Cundey, managing director at Henry Poole & Co, Prince Harry has a good reason why he keeps on wearing the same blazer and it has something to do with the trend and weather.

“Linen, silk, and wool is the most popular summer jacket at the moment. Linen has become difficult for people to wear as it makes creases, but blend it with silk and wool and that will recover,” Cundey told Insider.

“So it won’t be so bad when sitting down to events. I’ve seen many business gentleman wearing these materials, along with members of the royal family for engagements. It’s a casual but smart look, especially in tans and pale blues.”

Cundey added that Prince Harry’s tendency to wear the same design but in different colors could also be due to the weather. Furthermore, the color could depend on the time of the day.

“Guys will often repeat their order based on the area they are involved with, for instance for a dressier event they might not choose a bright colour, but an evening colour. For the day time they might go more neutral, such as beige,” Cundey said.

Prince Harry’s outfit at Archie’s christening was criticized by netizens. One said that his suit was inappropriate. Another said that he wore “mismatched” socks and shoes. For them, Prince Harry looked “terrible” at his son’s baptism.
