Prince Harry's Cousin Lady Amelia Windsor Enjoying Unroyal Life By Doing These
Lady Amelia Windsor is living a life that is very much different from her royal cousins Prince William and Prince Harry.
According to Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, Windsor is not officially a "working royal" and she is living the life she wants. In fact, she "strays from the boundaries of royal tradition."
Just last week, the model shared a photo of her at Peckham bar Frank's cafe, an urban "carpark turned bar" hotspot located on the 10th story of a multi-level car park. On the said sighting, she was seen eating a miniature cake to celebrate her 23rd birthday.
Unlike her royal cousins, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex, Windsor maintains her own social media account. She's also free to make even controversial moves that are unlikely for a royal. For instance, Windsor has a tattoo on her ribcage, wrists and shoulder.
In addition, she was seen enjoying some time on the beach. In July, she was seen in a strapless denim bikini frolicking in the water in Ibiza. She appeared to be in high spirits and was even photographed playing with a dog.
Windsor also stirred her fans when she was spotted topless in the beach. But her followers didn’t find any issues with it at all. In fact, they agree that the royal protocol should be left behind especially when it comes to the younger generations of royals.
"Protocol's need to move with the times. Topless is now the norm on lots of foreign beaches. If we kept to the same protocols forever then royals would still be all wearing ankle length dresses, no trousers, no jeans and not marrying divorcees," one user wrote.
Windsor was not invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding. According to an insider, Windsor and her sister, Marina, were expecting an invitation to the event.
"They were a little surprised not to be invited as they were looking forward to going," the source said. "Amelia is creating quite a name for herself with her modelling and Instagram posts. Perhaps Harry just wanted to keep the family invited to a small number or maybe he didn't want anyone upstaging the bride."
