Prince Harry’s Ex-Girlfriend Cressida Bonas Surfaces Amid His Engagement To Meghan Markle
Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, surfaced just days after he announced his engagement to Meghan Markle.
Bonas revealed that she’s part of the official music of “Naked,” a song by James Arthur. Bonas shared some behind the scene photos from the production of “Naked.” She also expressed how grateful she is to have been part of the music video, which was officially released on Friday on Vevo.
The 28-year-old also made headlines earlier this week after she posted a cryptic message on Instagram. In her post, the actress-model talked about how people should treat others.
Following her split from Prince Harry in 2014, the “Doctor Thorne” star said that dating the royal somewhat limited her career opportunities.
“I think it’s that thing of being pigeonholed. Especially in this country, I feel people are very quick to put you in a box or put you in a corner and think, ‘Oh, well, you’re that, so you must be that.’ It’s incredibly frustrating, especially in the industry that I’m in. But you know, it is the way it is,” she told BBC’s “Woman’s Hour” (via Entertainment Tonight).
Prince Harry and the Winchester native were together for two years before they decided to call it quits. There were rumors suggesting Bonas also had a hard time hearing the public’s scrutiny even about the way she dressed and looked.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry got engaged to Markle earlier this month, but they only announced it on Monday, Nov. 27. During their first sit-down interview, Prince Harry revealed that he and Markle had a talk about the upsides and downsides of getting into the royal family.
Markle said that she has fully accepted everything that will come alongside being Prince Harry’s wife. The actress even moved to London recently to focus on humanitarian work and to be closer to Prince Harry.
The actress also left USA Network’s hit TV show, “Suits,” after seven seasons so she could focus on her new life in London.
Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding is set for May, and it will be held at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
